This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
As most of us should know, the website, Wikileaks (not a subsidiary of Wikipedia/Wikimedia), headed by the man Julian Assange, has released many confidential diplomatic and other documents apparently important not only to the US government but to other countries such as some in the Middle East and in Europe. To me, the release of these documents is akin to somebody reaching into your mind and making your private thoughts known to the world. As I read more about this Julian Assange and his supposedly altruistic motive of wanting to give truth to the world, or something like that, I find his methods rather reckless and shall I say, bordering on destructive. With the latest release of so-called sites critical to US security, one wonders how on earth does he consider that an act of sharing the "truth" with the world? This sounds far more like espionage against the US, purposefully revealing weak spots for potential aggressors, but what does the knowledge of such sites give to the common layman? Nothing at all! In my opinion, Julian Assange seems more of an innate troublemaker and attention seeker, rather than an actual champion of truth that he claims to be. Does he feel good or satisfied, knowing that he has potentially endangered hundreds or thousands of lives with his dissemination of sensitive material? Perhaps the negative attention received, including calls for assassination, give him a form of relish? While his so called mission of exposing the truth is admirable, his latest actions have convinced me that he's working under an ulterior motive, a rather superficial one: attention seeking.
If he truly wants to convince us of his mission, perhaps the people at Wikileaks should thoroughly sift through every document to ensure that the so-called "truth" may be exposed, while keeping sensitive information away from the public eye. It's called TOP SECRET for a reason, you know.
